Whether you are planning a first tank or need help caring for an established one, a clear request helps us find the right person to speak with you.
What can you ask about?
- New setup: tank placement, equipment planning, installation, and first steps before fish are added.
- Maintenance: routine cleaning, water changes, filter care, or help getting a neglected aquarium back on track.
- Design or refresh: a planted layout, aquascape update, or a plan for a tank that fits your space and its inhabitants.
What should you include in your message?
Tell us your neighborhood or ZIP in Central San Diego, the aquarium's approximate size, whether it is freshwater or saltwater, and what you want to accomplish. For an existing tank, include its current condition, any recent test results you have, and whether the request is routine or time-sensitive. Photos can be shared during follow-up. You can also send a general question if you are unsure what kind of help you need.
How the introduction works
- Send your message through the form on the Beyond Aquatic home page.
- We review the location and tank details and check whether an independent provider may be available.
- If there is a fit, the provider follows up to discuss the work, timing, and a quote directly with you.
Beyond Aquatic routes inquiries. It does not perform the aquarium service or set the provider's price or schedule. An introduction is subject to provider availability and your location.
Start with good information
For a new tank, our freshwater startup guide explains the equipment and cycling questions worth considering before fish arrive. For an established tank, our care routine covers water tests, partial changes, and filter upkeep. These guides can help you describe the task when you request a referral.
We are starting with Central San Diego. Send your neighborhood or ZIP so we can check whether a provider is available nearby. No service area outside that range is promised.
